This is the color that I have to put up with every fall, so I guess it really is fall.

…although you sure wouldn’t be able to tell that from the temperature outside.

This is EXACTLY how it looked this morning. God is the greatest painter EVER.

It’s been ca-razy in Bryant-ville. I did get a chance to go to the local farmer’s market yesterday, though, and got some pretty cool shots. I’ll post more later…you know, the picture from today. 😉
Hot peppers to go with the temperature yesterday! HOT!
These may be the coolest pumpkins ever! The farmers said they cross pollenated, resulting in a happy accident.

I love seeing God’s design in the little, beautiful details.
…And the final post for Tree O’ Autumn: Week Four. I took it from the other side of the tree so you could see more of the color.

When we moved in (one year ago this last week) we discovered that we had an oak tree in the front yard that has leaves that turn red. Being autumn red tree leaf junkies, Kara and I were excited about the prospect of actually having a tree that has red leaves. Now we get to share it with all of you since the leaves started to turn this week. It barely made the timing necessary for this challenge but it is ahead of last year’s schedule. Last year it did not start to turn until the first week in November.

This is a bush over on the side of the house that is developing all these amazing shades of pinks in the leaves….
The image below has been tweaked a bit more using some of my antiquing effects from my iPhoto program….

These are the greatest trees. Red leaves in fall, and it flowers out in the spring. That’s why we had to plant one in the backyard.

I have been using a different camera all week, so this one has been sitting on the camera. It was right after sunrise while the sky is still fairly dark. Once again, I am discovering how the polarizing filter darkens down the corners when pointed away from the sun. I didn’t mess with the picture to get those dark corners.

Tonight was Jacob’s final home game. It’s been a long frustrating season, but mom and dad have made it to most of the games. At the home games, they greet him after the game down at the bottom of the bleachers. He loves coming over and chatting with them…
