This is a really great shot. I downloaded it yesterday and again today so I could check out all of the exif info to figure out how you did it. Without the flash, I am stumped. Great pic!

It was taken with the setting sun…why are you thinking that he would have needed the flash? What is wrong with the settings? I just gave him the camera and he worked with what I was using earlier in the day (around noon…) I am trying to figure out exactly what all the settings do still.

    I LOVE this photo, Jacob!

Woah, woah, woah, Christi, one word – decaf.

There’s nothing wrong with the settings or anything wrong with the picture. It’s an amazing picture. I was curious how her face is perfect, but there is no sunlight anywhere else (except high in the trees). I expected to see sun somewhere behind her on the driveway if the sun was on her face. So, I downloaded it to see if the flash fired. I love pictures like this, so I was curious how it was all done. There’s nothing wrong with the picture at all; it’s just perfect positioning.

LOL…sorry! I wasn’t getting defensive….just curious as to why you were looking at specifics and wondering if there was something about the ISO that would require more light. ;o)
