The “Fall-ing Ladybug”

Okay. My Pre did not work out for me very well today so I have to go with one taken on my point and shoot. I will update the “about” page to reflect this camera usage (as soon as I figure out how).

Summer Outside, Fall Indoors

Like you, I love fall! And when September rolls around, I don’t care if people are still flip-flopping around and passing out from the heat. Without apology my fall decorations come out of hibernation. Here’s a small sample.

“Eat something green!”
Posted by David On October 1, 2010
Anyone remember when you were a kid and you hated eating vegetables? And your mom or dad would always make you eat something green because that’s the color of vegetables? One time I got away with eating pistachio salad just because it was green (it’s not vegetable related AT ALL!). I’m taking that concept for today’s picture. This leaf is not autumn colored because it’s autumn. It’s that color because it’s dead and caught in the branches of the tree. But, just like having to eat something green colored, this one is close enough for me today.
