SUNFLOWERS AND MORE SUNFLOWERS

These wild sunflowers go on for about 3 miles along this road.  Some have already died but a lot are still blooming.

the walgreens tree

My Wednesdays are pretty busy, so I grabbed the keychain camera as I went to Walgreens. This camera is a little 1.3 megapixel keychain camera that is tiny, unpredictable and, honestly, kinda awesome. It takes such bad pictures that I love them – highly saturated, dark corners, crazy focus, etc. This one looks pretty normal compared to what it usually does.

Tree Day on the Photo Blog

Dave’s tuesday picture

Catchy title, eh?  And like some other pictures today, I think the leaves in my picture look like they’re dying too.

FALL COLORS

‘I thought these colors were quite a mix of colors for a pasture fall scene.

Seeing some change

Not sure if these are just dying, or changing color.  Looks like a little of both.  Either way, I love the red. 🙂 Oh – I took this last night, btw. Been a slacker today.

Tree O’ Autumn: Week One

There’s a certain tree in town that we love to keep an eye on each fall. We drive down the street that it’s on, round a bend, and – wow –  there it is in its autumn glory.  It hasn’t started turning yet, but I want to take a picture of it about once a week to track its changes. Here’s Week One.

Monarchs in the Pecan Orchard

The “challenge is to take a photograph everyday”  Well I spent all day at the hospital w/Karen, so when I got home I did take a couple of pictures in the living room, but I didn’t like them, so I am posting a picture I took yesterday!  (The rules don’t say the posted picture has to be a picture taken that day, does it?)

Another tree

I guess I’ll be a tree photographer. Next I’ll take a picture of a dog.

The acorn collection

Took the girls on a photo walk while Daddy worked on the guest bathroom. Mia acquired quite a collection on our way, so of course her cute little hands and shoes (on the wrong feet) won out over the pretty autumn leaves I photographed.

(Yes, we’re STILL working on the bathroom. The texture guy is supposed to be here on Wednesday. Heh. We’ll see.)
