Even though this one won’t win any photography contests, I love it because of the subject. This is my new, beloved Starbucks tumbler. I predict that I’ll spend many fall days and evenings with this beaut by my side.

We caught this fellow chewing on some tire tread today. Not sure if it is a rat that mated with a squirrel or a squirrel that looks like a rat. He was very dark, almost black and his face is more pointed then a squirrel. Makes you wonder?

GUMBO!! I’m not very good at cajun cooking, but I sure like trying! 🙂

I think this is the prettiest tree on the block. At least until the rest start changing.

This is a windmill down by the Museum in San Angelo…a gorgeous park full of waterfalls, flowers, sculptures and even built in hopscotch games on the sidewalks down on the river. So beautiful and the perfect ending to our 2 mile historic walk through San Angelo.

When we left for the hospital this morning I saw this cloud bank and with the tree starting to turn, I thought this was a good fall picture.

Not much of a picture, but today we went to the St. Lawrence Fall Festival & ate a great German meal. (Also went by the pecan orchard & saw lots of migrating monarchs, but decided to leave those pictures for someone else to post.)

Since Sundays are busy for me, I took my camera with me when I left for church this morning. I took three great pictures in three very different ways. I was able to take out the sunrise picture taken with the camera phone, but I couldn’t decide between these two. So, I will post them both.
There’s a good chance you’ll see this on my personal blog tomorrow because I really love it. This was the camera sitting on the dash while I steered with the other hand. A half second exposure gets some light trails and it’s a neat picture. Alison likes this next one so I am including it as well.

I was headed for bed when I decided I wasn’t emotionally ready to fail at the autumn challenge on the second day. So, I took this. Here is a picture of my favorite fall painting in the house. And here is a picture of the painting so you can see what it looks like.

So…since didn’t even SEE my “real” camera today, my precious blackberry came to save the day! And who is surprised that my fall pic of the day was taken at the ball park, of my baby girl’s shoes. 🙂

I thought these mums were very pretty. I normally won’t take only close ups like I have these 2 days.
