a delicate spiderweb

I wanted to try out the super macro function on my camera and this is what I found as a subject.  This thing is TINY.  Maybe a few inches across.  I am not completely satisfied with this attempt but it will have to work for today since the sun has already gone down.

half autumn tree

This is the tree around the corner from our house.  I wish I had started taking a weekly picture like Alison is doing, but since I didn’t, look for another picture of this tree at the end of the month.

The nice part about wifi is that I’m still seeing this same scene while I am posting this picture. So I kind of feel like you’re all here with us. Alison says, “Hi!”

Kat & hopscotch!

Today, I had the chance to take pictures of Mia & Kat together, but none of them turned out!!!  The girls were sitting in these great chairs at Kirkland’s; however, I hadn’t checked the setting on my camera & the pictures are really blurry & out of focus.  Hopefully, the lesson about checking the camera settings is one I learn during this month of “challenge.”

But I had taken a (not so great) picture of Kat learning about Hopscotch when we were at the house earlier, so at least I can post this picture!  (Check out those polka-dot tights!)
