Month: October 2010

mountain aspens

A couple of months ago, Alison volunteered for work to go up to Cloudcroft for a day. She volunteered so we could be there in fall and we could see the awesome aspen colors there. Do you know how hard it was to pick one picture for today?!?!

(I edited this to say that I wanted you to be able to see where this picture came from. I went ahead and posted a broad landscapey shot on my blog to show it. Head to here to see the other picture.)

“he’s fallen & can’t get up!”

Sleepy Gnome has obviously fallen off his post & is stuck between the house brick, the railroad tie & the patio — too sleepy to get himself up!

Well, her hair is a color of autumn…

…and it was taken on October 7. So, that makes it autumn-y, yes?  I thought so. 🙂

Cross Before Dusk

This was taken of our church’s steeple while I sprinted to choir practice. About an hour before sunset is a great time of day…the sun makes colors so intense.

the dog days of…fall?

October weather means a great time for doggie play dates.  This guy here is Tigger.  He is a Pisces.  He enjoys long walks on a beach and chasing the infamous squirats of Angelo.  Oh – and he has no concept of personal space.  “Wanna play?”
