ps. when i was in 2nd grade, we used to live just at the outskirts of a small town in rural MI…but one of the main highways. we had lots of milkweeks so, therefore, lots of monarchs. i would walk along the roadside and collect all the dead (but still very lovely) monarch butterflies. my poor mom… i always had so many pretty dead bugs, butterflies, bird nests, and rocks in my room… : )
