Tree O’ Autumn: Week One

There’s a certain tree in town that we love to keep an eye on each fall. We drive down the street that it’s on, round a bend, and – wow – there it is in its autumn glory. It hasn’t started turning yet, but I want to take a picture of it about once a week to track its changes. Here’s Week One.

I LOVE this idea, but SERIOUSLY?!?! When are the trees going to start turning around here??? Are you sure that it actually happens?? LOL…
I looked at my personal blog, and last year, fall was in full force here around the 11th of november.
The leaves were already turning in Alabama 3 weeks ago and they are just as far south as we are…hmmm, must be a moisture thing because they were definitely as hot as us too.
Can’t wait to see the progression of changing colors in the weeks to come!
