Cross Before Dusk
October 6, 2010
This was taken of our church’s steeple while I sprinted to choir practice. About an hour before sunset is a great time of day…the sun makes colors so intense.

I love that time of day for the coloring on photography. You captured it beautifully across the side of the cross. Just a peaceful, serene photo…I love it!
Beautiful! And when you say “while I sprinted to choir practice,” this seems to be a reminder to “BE STILL AND KNOW.”
Very pretty, Alison! Nice composition. It’s my favorite time of day, too. I try to book my shoots about an hour before sunset. Less photoshop that way. 😉
