We have a pumpkin stem down! …I repeat, a pumpkin stem is down!
October 25, 2010
I adore white pumpkins, so I hate that the pumpkin stem didn’t survive its trip from Dripping Springs, Texas, in our car. The black at the base of the stem is my attempt at fixing it using electrical tape. It’s a wonder that this feat of engineering didn’t survive today’s 45+ mph wind gusts.

So sorry to hear about the pumpkin stem, but guess you’re luck the whole thing hasn’t blown away! I love the white pumpkin!
LOL….I adore your title. Sounds like it may be time for some epoxy! smiles…
BTW, this pumpkin is gorgeous! I can never find any pretty white ones….
Did you call the Pentaverat to come and fix it?? They were at “The Meadows” for their tri-annual meeting and could have stopped on the way back.
Anyway – LOVE the pic and sorry that electrical tape did not hold up. After watching Mythbusters (which we still have you to thank for) and seeing the duct tape automobile myths, I say some white duct tape should be up to the challenge.
Try Super Glue – Or Duct Tape…
All great ideas for a real fix.
And, Daniel, that made my evening. Now I think I’ll go read “the paper.”
LOVE the pic! LOVE the gourd. 😉
Would you like a juice?
So, aren’t pumpkins fruits? If so, is this pumpkin a fruet of the deveel?
