Making Up for Lost Time

I love seeing God’s design in the little, beautiful details.

…And the final post for Tree O’ Autumn: Week Four.  I took it from the other side of the tree so you could see more of the color.

We have a pumpkin stem down! …I repeat, a pumpkin stem is down!

I adore white pumpkins, so I hate that the pumpkin stem didn’t survive its trip from Dripping Springs, Texas, in our car. The black at the base of the stem is my attempt at fixing it using electrical tape. It’s a wonder that this feat of engineering didn’t survive today’s 45+ mph wind gusts.

Yet Another Blue House View

The trees are at their height of color, a contrast to the post here.

Mill Pond Park

Bear with me. I missed several days, so I’m playing catch-up with extra posts today.

I couldn’t resist posting this next one, too.  …The flowers are so pretty, but is it fall or spring?

Tree O’ Autumn – Week Three

City Sidewalks, Take Two OR How to Spend Too Much Time on a Simple Picture

So I’m driving through downtown this morning, and I spot a tree, flowers, and a lamppost that I thought would compose a great post for today. I park, walk a ways, cross the street, and get in position for the shot. Click!  Got it!  But, no…

I had to leave my SD card at home. My hollow camera pouted.

So – I drive home, get the card, and return to the spot.

It was a lot of trouble, BUT in the end…it still wasn’t a great shot. I just chose this one and called it good. =)

If Trees Decided to Get Highlights

The quality is only decent for a point & shoot, but I liked the little tuft of color on top.

  • Camera: Canon PowerShot SD1000
  • Focal length: 10.093mm
